Chicken Teriyaki Recipe

My kids love this Teriyaki Chicken so much that is why I am saving this recipe.
As we know it so hard to please kids, and experimenting and finding food they will like is a journey
Surely will share with you when I have tried this recipe

 

• about a kilo of chicken thighs, boneless and cut into cubes
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 3 tbsp honey
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 1/2 tbsp unsalter butter
• 1/3 cup fresh orange juice
• 1 tsp sesame oil
• optional sesame seed and green onions for garnishing

In one bowl, combine fresh orange juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger and honey. Mix well.

Add the cubed chicken to the marinade. Mix and leave to rest for 20mins to let the chicken to absorb the marinade.

In a hot pan, add the olive oil. Drain out the chicken from the marinade but still keep the marinade.
Saute the chicken on the pan till golden brown.
Remove the chicken from pan.
Add the remaining marinade and add butter till the sauce thickens.
Add back the chicken stir well till chicken covered with the sauce.
Sprinkle sesame seed and green onions to serve.
