 Kinilaw na Tuna


Ingredients:

500 grams yellowish tuna (sashimi-grade), cut into 1/2 inch cube

2/3 cup spiced vinegar

4 tsps calamansi juice

2 tsps garlic, crushed

2 tsps ginger, julienned

1/2 cup white onion, thinly sliced

1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced

4 pieces siling labuyo (bird's eye chilli)

1 1/2 tbsps siling haba (long green chilli pepper) sliced

3 tbsps chicharon (pork rind) crushed 

salt and pepper to taste


Direction:

1. Placed cubed tuna ina stainless steel bowl and season with some salt and pepper. Let stand for a few minutes

2. Add vinegar, clamansi juice, garlic, ginger, white and re onions and peppers. Mix well.

3. Transfer mixture to a serving dish and top generously with chicharon

4.  Serve immediately.
